having a map of the city with bus routes is really helpful. otherwise just make sure you don’t wander into bad neighborhoods alone because it’s really easy;;

i picked up one of those on my first day, i’m just super terrible at navigating buses ^^; but i’m okay at avoiding bad neighborhoods so that’s a plus
